For those of you wondering how do you complete the hiring process on the producer webpage, no worries! Here’s a step-by-step tutorial of the producer app from project creation to hiring of a talent for your shoot.
Start by Creating A Project
Firstly, create your producer account at producer.filet.com.sg and log in. Then, click on New Project to start the casting process!
Fill In Shoot Details And Add Roles
Here is where you fill in the details of your shoot. Don’t worry if you have not locked down your shoot day, use the shoot date range as an estimate, and edit to change it later once you have confirmed it. Click on add role for each specific role you are casting for in this project. (E.g. if you’re casting for one male lead and one female lead for this shoot, you can create 2 different roles.)
Fill In The Relevant Talent Search Fields
Fill in the details of each role. Only the Character Name, Playing Age, Gender, and Rate is compulsory. You may fill in the rest of the details if you are looking for a very specific look, however, it is advised to leave the search criteria a bit broader. The rate is only an estimate for your talents. You may further negotiate the final rate later.
Click Search To Begin Looking For Talents
Now that you have created your roles and projects, it’s time to start looking for talents. Click Search on the left tab.
Select The Project And Role That You Are Casting For
Choose the project and role to browse for talents that fit the criteria for that role, then click Okay.
Click On A Talent To View or Contact Them
Click on View Profile for any talent you would like to contact. If you would like to see more options, try changing the temporary filter on the right.
Invite the Talent For An Audition Or Make An Offer
Here you can view the talent’s details, pictures and portfolio. Click on View Profile for any talent you would like to contact. If you would like to see more options, try changing the temporary filter on the right.
Message The Talent, Invite to Audition Or Make an Offer
In the messaging page, you may ask questions and confirm details of the shoot with the talent. You may also cancel the previous audition invitation to send them a new one. When you are ready to hire them, make them an offer above.
Making an Offer
Fill in the finalized rate, number of hours of shoot, and the deadline for the offer before it expires. In order to avoid multiple people being hired for the same role, you may only offer one person per role at any point of time. To offer the role to someone else, simply cancel the previous offer before it has been accepted, then make a new offer.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the talent accepts the offer to confirm the role so that both parties receive a written contract.
